4. NOISY BOY / RUM AND COCA COLA

It is perhaps a less absurd artwork, but perhaps more magical.
It has
got its ambiguities. Girls /identical triplets/ are contemporary
representations of women from Pre-Raphaelite paintings.
I saw them sitting on a bridge in a park, waving their legs, they
are
so natural. They are also Lolitas – perverse, but not fully aware
of
their power.
The sound reveals their laughter, a bit hysterical and unsettling.
This is my reflection over the inevitable passing of beauty,
and passion.

RUM AND COCA COLA

Contemporary hip-hop girls-/twins/are listening to one looped
phrase
/Rum and Coca Cola/ from a 40s song performed by the
Andrews Sisters.

The film shows the Andrews Sisters dancing, distorted in a funny
way –
they are surrounded with flickering pink stars so reminiscent
of Hollywood.
It is slightly absurd after a drink on a hot day.
